Event Description
Broken items? Bring them along and meet our friendly, skilful volunteer fixers , and enjoy a cup of your chosen brew as you wait, or just come in for a chat and a cuppa. All are welcome, but please leave your dogs, apart from Assistance Dogs, outside; we love them, but they are not allowed in the building.
We offer a wide range of repairs, including electrics/electronics, textiles, jewellery, small furniture, sharpening, and all kinds of general items. We are now able to offer a bicycle repair service, but please email us a couple of days before so that we can make sure the person will be available that day.
We also offer a lively, welcoming atmosphere, as we are a very happy bunch who love what we do, saving hundreds of items from being thrown away and contributing to landfill sites, and can save you the cost of professional repairs.
We are always pleased to meet new volunteers, so if you have a skill you'd like to offer, come along! Helping with Reception and tea/coffee making are included in desirable skills, too.
