Event Description

Experience Arabic rhythms, Welsh melodies and multilingual vocals - from Wales to the Middle East and beyond.

Experience Arabic rhythms, Welsh melodies and multilingual vocals – from Wales to the Middle East and beyond.

Join Panedeni for a special live performance at The Hanging Gardens on 19th June, as they celebrate the release of their debut EP Atamanaa, joined by the full seven piece ensemble and support from Lo-Fi Jones.

Panedeni – a cross-cultural ensemble whose name blends the Welsh word paned (a cup of tea) with Adeni tea from Yemen – bring together Welsh and Arabic musical traditions through vibrant melodies, Arabic instruments (ouds, darbukas), Welsh border pipes, belly dancing and multilingual languages. Rooted in collaboration, Panedeni’s music celebrates inclusivity and diversity, creating a space where people and cultures come together through music.

Yasmine (lead vocalist) says: The Hanging Gardens is the first show of the EP release, and it feels really special to have the full seven-piece together. We can’t wait to share the music, the rhythms, and the energy with you – come dance, sing, and celebrate with us!

All are welcome, we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
