Dragons Housing co operative

We are a fully independent housing co-operative and own and manage a key building in the heart of the village of Llanrhaeadr ym Mochnant. We are both a home to our members and we also own a shop which we sublet to the Dragons craft collective, a local group of makers, artisans and crafters.

Here are Dragons we are committed to living within the permaculture ethics and principles along with the principle of co-operation. It is a simple but very effective management system and one that helps steer us in a positive direction. Everything we do at Dragons sits within in our longer term plans for permaculture and co-operation

Dragons co-op is also home to Sector39, a network supporting permaculture education and project development. Sector39 offers related courses and activitis locally and is also part of the Wales for africa program, with steong links to East Africa.

Stay at Dragons Bed and Breakfast! From January, our latest venture is to offer out our spare room for short term stays, to people with an active interest in any of themes behind our co-operative, permaculture, co-operation, food growing and conservation. We want to offer a 'deep-green' experience to our visitors and possibly a way in to connecting to this special and stunning area and also a way in to the world of ecological living and all that goes with that.
