Summer in all its glory!
We hope you have an opportunity to enjoy nature at the end of one of the sunniest Springs on record.

Summer Reading Challenge
Each year the Summer Reading Challenge had a new theme. For 2025, the theme is 'Story Garden', a challenge all about Adventures in Nature and the Great Outdoors. All children need to do is register at their local library and read 6 books over the summer holidays. Those who complete the challenge will receive a medal and certificate and gain entry into a prize draw.

Green Homes Wales
The Green Homes Wales scheme, supported by Welsh Government, is still open for applications for home owners wanting to make their homes more energy efficient. The support includes fire professional advice on the most appropriate way to make your house more energy efficiency, and the cost and benefits of doing so, and if you want to go ahead with any measures, some part grant funding and additional zero interest loan funding to enable you to carry out the measures.
