COME TO PRESTEIGNE’S BIG GREEN FAIR
It’s free!
Take a Walk on the Wild side!
Enjoy the lovely flowers and grasses on the roadside verges and in the Warden by taking a short, easy, guided walk led by Warden Guardians and Verges for Nature volunteers. Talk with them about how these green spaces are encouraging biodiversity.
2.00pm start from the small hut at the side of the barn with Local Green Spaces banner. No booking required, all ages welcome! Look out for handouts of a pictorial sheet of 20 flowers seen on our verges & a quiz based on wildflowers at the Barn all day.
Come to the Barn and see an exhibition and demonstration of equipment used by local citizen scientists to measure pollution on the rivers Lugg and Wye.
Green Hearts at the library are available for children (& adults) to write their Wishes for the Planet on as part of the Big Green Week. These will then be displayed on a library window for passers-by to see. Please come in and add yours!
