Powys Action on the Climate Emergency (PACE) Hosted by PACE and Egin
Event Description
This workshop will be about Housing Retrofit and will be run by Jeremy Brignell-Thorp and Damon Webb of Cartrefi Clyd.
It will run through all the resources that are currently available to support and encourage residents, whether low-income or able-to-pay, to make homes more energy efficient.
We will discuss some of the current issues in the sector, for instance the ECO4 scheme and Air Source Heat Pumps, and offer an impartial independent perspective and also cover the Boiler Upgrade Scheme, Zero Interest Loans, the Green Homes Wales scheme, the PAS2035 standard and look at the pros and cons of Internal Wall Insulation, Cavity Wall Insulation and External Wall insulation.
There will be plenty of time for questions.
