Let's keep building resilience & Bike to the Future

We had an excellent get together with other changemakers on 5th February. Over 120 people attended and enjoyed a delicious lunch from 'Cultivate', Newtown, using local produce. Key figures from P.C.C. & agencies shared their opportunities and challenges. Events like this give us connectivity, strength and inspiration.

Powys Green Guide urgently needs your support now. Current funding ends shortly and we have been working hard on securing more. Our tiny Board needs you now to help by completing this survey to show the need of P.G.G.. Statements of support show prospective funders the importance of collaboration.

The Orchard Project are looking to grow their impact in Wales, add value and form partnerships. In particular on heritage or veteran orchards in need of restoration or care, which can be included in an upcoming Heritage Lottery Fund bid.

TPAS Cymru’s 6th Annual Tenant Pulse Survey is live! This year’s survey focuses on affordable warmth, energy efficiency, and the transition to Net Zero homes, capturing tenants’ real experiences as housing decarbonisation unfolds.

Bike to the Future

Bike to the Future is a Community Bicycle Workshop in Newtown. We provide repairs and servicing for all makes and models, plus we support people to learn how to repair and maintain bikes for themselves.

We invite people to donate their unused bikes, which we can bring into good working order and sell on. An inexpensive way to get into cycling, reduce the need for yet more consumption and reduce our carbon footprint in one easy step.

We want to support people to embrace the e-bike experience, and to do this safely, legally, and without the hassle of component failure. Therefore we offer Bianchi e-bikes, at great prices. We see this more as a service rather than a commercial opportunity.
