Powys Green Businesses Focus

Spotlight on.....Penpont

A family estate on the River Usk with environmental ethics.

It's walled Gardens is now a thriving organic horticultural unit, providing the community with fresh produce year round. Over 400 varieties of native and ornamental trees have been planted in the grounds, alongside the creation of new woodlands and habitats across the wider estate.

Cwmsefin, our regenerative farm, is beginning to provide 100% pasture fed beef and lamb too, alongside honey, preserves and juices.

We heat all the buildings with a large biomass boiler with wood fuel sourced from the estate woodlands. We partner with a youth charity Action For Conservation to restore biodiversity through regenerative farming practices on the 500 acres of land.

Accommodation and events from family celebrations, weddings and retreats.

Checkout more on the P.G.G. for events, experiences and products from greener producers.
