Repair Cafes
Repair Cafes help reduce waste by encouraging people to fix, reuse, and extend the life of everyday items rather than throwing them away. From small electrical repairs and clothing alterations to furniture restoration and bicycle maintenance, repair cafes play a vital role in cutting landfill waste and lowering our environmental impact.
Across Powys and Mid Wales, repair cafes and community repair initiatives also support local skills, strengthen the circular economy, and help households save money while making more sustainable choices. Choosing repair over replacement is a simple but powerful way to care for both our belongings and our environment.
