Repair Shops help reduce waste by encouraging people to fix, reuse, and extend the life of everyday items rather than throwing them away. From small electrical repairs and clothing alterations to furniture restoration and bicycle maintenance, repair shops play a vital role in cutting landfill waste and lowering our environmental impact.
Across Powys and Mid Wales, repair shops and community repair initiatives also support local skills, strengthen the circular economy, and help households save money while making more sustainable choices. Choosing repair over replacement is a simple but powerful way to care for both our belongings and our environment.

Volunteers will help with repairs to household items including clocks, electrical items, small mechanicals, woodwork, leatherwork and do sewing repairs and tool sharpening.

Throw it away, no way! Bring your broken items for our fixperts to have a look at, while you enjoy a cuppa and biscuits. We repair electric/electronic goods, textiles, jewellery and many more, avoiding having them thrown into landfill.
