Wyldwood Willow

Weaving willow baskets and products for home and garden since 2000, Amanda has gone from strength to strength, weaving commissions of baskets, lampshades and sculpture whilst also teaching for the last 23 years.

Some of my greatest moments include showing hundreds of people every year how to weave something...at the many shows and festivals I teach at... even The Royal Highnesses -the King and Queen have been subjected to dragonfly weaving several years ago when I used to teach at Humble by Nature!

...I currently run workshops at Kew Gardens, The Garlic Farm and Sustainability Centre in Hampshire

Some of my work has been used in the show gardens of RHS Chelsea and RHS Malvern. I have featured in Kate Humbles latest book- Homemade and I make pieces for exhibitions and public spaces.

I weave bespoke willow coffins in conjunction with Usk Castle Chase Burial Meadow.

I sell my baskets, sculpture, willow kits and tutorials through my webshop and Etsy as well as at the shows I attend. You can visit me in my studio by appointment to view my produce or commission me.
